Dr. Robert A. Martin specializes in general orthopedics, with unique expertise in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff surgery and knee replacement. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Robert A. Martin specializes in general orthopedics, with unique expertise in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff surgery and knee replacement. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Martin is a member of the Ohio Orthopaedic Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

His past work has included a number of positions with several sports teams including a staff physician at the Virginia Winter Special Olympics, a staff physician at Tuckahoe Sports Injury Clinic, and an assistant team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers Football Club.

Dr. Martin is a past chairman of the orthopedic department at Mount Carmel East Hospital, where he also served on the medical executive committee and surgical administrative committee.

He and his wife enjoy traveling and watching their three children play sports.
