An Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) is a physical therapist who has a minimum of 2,000 hours of direct practice involving orthopaedic rehabilitation. This board certified physical therapist has also passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical knowledge, experience, skills, and theory related to their practice in orthopedics. This board certification is coordinated and monitored by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
