Licensed Massage Therapist
What is a Licensed Massage Therapist?
In an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) focuses on treatment of dysfunctions and disorders of musculoskeletal system with hands on soft tissue mobilization and myofascial interventions. Our LMT’s see patients with physician referrals for massage therapy as well as assist our therapy staff with the treatment and rehabilitation of our patients. After successfully completing prescribed physical therapy, our massage therapists can assist with the maintenance and treatment of your orthopedic diagnosis.
