Hip & Knee Reconstruction

Zachary J. Sirois, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction, with expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. His clinical interests include outpatient joint replacement, partial knee arthroplasty, muscle-sparing anterior hip replacement, complex revision surgery, and robotic-assisted techniques designed to optimize recovery and patient outcomes.

Zachary J. Sirois, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction, with expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. His clinical interests include outpatient joint replacement, partial knee arthroplasty, muscle-sparing anterior hip replacement, complex revision surgery, and robotic-assisted techniques designed to optimize recovery and patient outcomes.

Dr. Sirois earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Cedarville University and his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Throughout his training, Dr. Sirois received numerous honors, including the John R. Kean Orthopedic Resident of the Year Award and the Mount Carmel Orthopedic Resident Teacher of the Year Award, recognizing both his clinical excellence and commitment to education.

Dr. Sirois has contributed extensively to orthopedic research and has authored and co-authored publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Arthroplasty Today, and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His research interests focus on complex primary and revision arthroplasty, periprosthetic fractures, and innovative surgical techniques.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sirois enjoys spending time with his wife and children and pursuing outdoor activities in every season, including fly fishing, hunting, hiking, and skiing. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he played soccer at a competitive level and continues to enjoy both soccer and hockey.
