Kathryn Slaughter, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with fellowship-training in pain medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical care of chronic back pain and works collaboratively with our team of orthopedic surgeons to treat patients using minimally invasive procedures, such as Intracept, kyphoplasty, fluoroscopic guided procedures and peripheral nerve and spinal cord stimulation.
Kathryn Slaughter, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with fellowship-training in pain medicine. Dr. Slaughter earned her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University where she was a two-year team captain of the University Women’s Soccer program. She obtained her medical degree and residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine – and earned the 5th highest score in the nation on the EMG Self-Assessment Exam. Following completion of her residency, she pursued advanced fellowship training in pain medicine from The Ohio State University.
In addition to spending time with her growing family, she enjoys traveling, downhill skiing and learning about wine.
