A Notice to Aetna Policy Holders:

Aetna Policy Holders:

Effective January 25, 2016 Orthopedic One will no longer be in the Aetna provider network. We are working to come to an agreement on a new contract, but have yet to reach a suitable resolution. To learn what this change in our network status means for your care, please call your Aetna representative, or reach out to your Human Resource contact at your workplace.

If you have had a procedure by an Orthopedic One physician and are still in your recovery period, your physician is able to care for you at in-network rates until the episode of care is complete.

If you receive services from one of our physicians or therapists after January 25, 2016, you will be “Out-Of-Network” with your plan. You will have a significant financial obligation in addition to your expected co-pays and deductible. Individual plans differ in their details, so we can’t tell you exactly how your plan will work. Often the details of your coverage are decided by your employer. Be sure to ask your Aetna representative about your financial liability for the out-of network service.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We consider it a privilege to care for you and your family, and we don’t want you to have unexpected expenses.

Thank you,

Orthopedic One
