I recently had surgery for Hallux Rigidus in my left foot, resulting in a big toe fusion performed by Dr. Brian Tscholl.

To me, the decision of who would perform the surgery was every bit as important as the decision to have surgery. He did a great job, and I have no regrets about either decision. It also did not hurt that he shared my love of jogging /running. In a word, he is outstanding, and I would highly recommend him.

Initially, Dr. Tscholl explained what options were available and the pros and cons of the various treatments. He also listened to any concerns that I had and made me feel very comfortable. He took the time to address my issues and answer all my questions. He is also great with follow-up after surgery. He is friendly and personable, keeps you well informed of what to expect pre and post-operatively. Additionally, his assistant Christina and the entire office staff are competent, caring, and highly professional.
