I broke my knee cap on Sunday Nov 12th. I visited a Same Day Center who wrote an urgent referral for me to Ortho One. The urgent referral didn’t get handled urgently but when I called the next day, the young lady who answered the phone said she would create a chart for me so an appt could be scheduled right away. She got me in to see Dr. Pallente the next day. Dr. Pallente was very professional, honest and kind. He displayed patience, care and concern about my injury. I was fitted for a robot style knee/leg brace and was given instructions on how to rest and heal as quickly as possible as I had shared our upcoming trip to Colorado for Christmas. Dr. Pallente scheduled 2 follow ups with me to insure that my healing was progressing well. He made sure he followed-up with me a few days before our trip so he could let me know exactly what I could expect for our vacation. I was overjoyed to hear him tell me I could walk without the brace after just 6 weeks in the brace. I appreciated that Dr. Pallente cared about my anxiety about our trip and wanted to make sure I knew exactly what to expect. Thank you Dr. Pallente and Ortho One!
