ACCEPTING PATIENTS BEGINNING MONDAY, JUNE 5, 2023

William Burgette, DO, is a fellowship-trained total joint surgeon who has been in practice in central Ohio since 2017. His specialties include primary and revision total knee and hip arthroplasty and minimally invasive total joint arthroplasty. He has extensive training and a special interest in performing MAKO Robotic-Assisted joint replacements.

Dr. Burgette is committed to medical education in the community. He regularly presents on hip and knee replacement surgeries and educates his peers about robotic-assisted joint replacements.

An Ohio native, he received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Health System and went on to complete an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Following fellowship, Dr. Burgette returned to Ohio to start practice. Prior to joining Orthopedic ONE, he was an employed orthopedic physician at OhioHealth.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Ohio Orthopedic Society, Ohio Osteopathic Association, International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr. Burgette’s interests include spending time with his wife and two sons, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, and enjoying time outdoors playing golf and baseball.

Overall, Dr. Burgette takes pride in getting patients back to a healthy and active lifestyle. He believes that with the right education, a patient’s understanding of their medical condition supports a positive outcome and healthier lifestyle choices.
