John A. Johansen, M.D.

I like to think the care and service we provide goes beyond regular office visits. We work with our patients every step of the way throughout the entire treatment process

A Columbus native, Dr. Johansen received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and performed his orthopedic residency at Georgetown University followed by an extensive shoulder/ elbow fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. During this time, he served as an assistant team physician for the Georgetown University football team and the Baltimore Orioles.

He now practices general orthopedics and sports medicine with a special interest in both arthroscopic and reconstructive knee and shoulder surgery.

An undergraduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Johansen was a member of the men's tennis team where he was an Academic All-American.
