    • Creates higher friction environment for tendons
    • Constricts tendon movement
    • Inhibits tendon’s natural gliding movement

  • While usually limited to one tendon, tendonitis can affect multiple tendons.
  • It occurs most often where tendon crosses tendon, or where tendon intersects a bony prominence.
