I suffered with knee problems for yrs and got steroid shots for the last 3-4 yrs until they quit working in my right knee. I put up with pain until Oct. of 2025. Made an appt with Dr. Smidt and made an appt for surgery for Nov 12, 2025. Studied online before my surgery so I wouldn’t be totally uneducated on the subject. There is a book recommendation that Dr. Smidt offers that is fantastic along with a Nutritional bundle that helps so much. I followed directions just as advised the best I could. It has a daily journal that supported me so much. I never had bad pain. Aches and soreness but not real pain. I know the nutrition bundle recommended and exercises given for me to follow helped. I never took any opioids. After 3 weeks I got an A+ perfect!!!! Good surgeon, follow his instructions, be sure to do exercises and elevation with icing as explained in your book and you should have a great recovery. I am very happy with my surgeon, and all offered to me to make it an easier experience.
