Surgery During COVID-19
In accordance with Governor Mike DeWine's guidance, Orthopedic ONE Surgeons will resume outpatient surgeries as of May 1, 2020, and inpatient surgeries as of June 3, 2020. We are working with our Hospital and Outpatient Surgery Center partners to carefully restart electives; however, it is important to note that rescheduling these procedures will take time as we all navigate under new safety measures and significant demand.
Our physician’s offices are working to contact patients whose procedures were cancelled or postponed. Please be patient with our team. If your situation has changed and you feel you require immediate care, please contact your provider’s office.
As we reevaluate your procedure, you and your provider will discuss your current condition and your risks involving COVID-19, and come to a joint decision about how to proceed. Each case will be reviewed and considered individually to ensure that the proper safety precautions are in place.
You may be tested for COVID-19. This will help us determine the risks to you and our medical staff and help us better protect all of our patients.
Our Hospital and Outpatient Surgery Center partners are going to great lengths to meet the expanded safety measures and requirements. You can learn more by visiting the sites of those partners directly.
