Orthopedic ONE names Chief Operating Officer

Orthopedic ONE recently named Sylvia Radziszewski its new chief operating officer. Radziszewski comes to the group with more than 10 years of healthcare leadership experience.  

She most recently served as vice president of the Oncology Institute, Breast Centers and Radiology Imaging Services at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, and prior to held several leadership positions with Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, Ohio, including executive director of the Mercy Cancer Center affiliated with University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center.

 

She will join CEO Tim Smith, and a team of nearly 60 orthopedic surgeons, 100 therapists and more than 600 employees offering a full range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal care across ten central Ohio locations.  

Radziszewski’s appointment comes just over a year since the group named Smith as CEO, affirming the direction and vision for the state’s largest, physician-owned orthopedic group.

Radziszewski holds a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from The Ohio State University, as well as a master’s in business administration from Kent State University. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and Work Out facilitator.

 

 

“I look forward to working with the leadership team, physicians and all of the talented associates that serve Orthopedic ONE’s primary mission each and every day – to keep the patient at the center of everything they do,” says Radziszewski. “As a former OSU graduate, I’m eager to return to the Columbus area.”

 

An avid traveller, Reiki novice, cyclist and sports fan, she will be joined by her husband and three sons.
